After the Storm by farmreporter

After the Storm

I was sent out to get some pictures of people digging out after the storm that dumped a huge amount of snow on the area.
It was a fun assignment.
This older lady is house and dog sitting for friends who managed to be on winter vacation in the Dominican Republic during Friday’s heavy snowfall. At 71 years old, she is old enough to know that she should be wearing gloves when she shovels snow. “I never wear gloves,” she said. “I inherited that from my dad. He never wore gloves either!”
Looks like hard yakka

She's a tough lady! Great timing on this shot - love how you've captured the snow in mid air!

I'll be she enjoys showing this shot to the neighbours when they return from their sunny holiday.

Love the way you've captured the powdery snow mid-shovel. Great action shot.
