Family Day is a statutory holiday here in Ontario.
I was once again assigned to shoot the Family Day action at a local park that has a trail system maintained by volunteers.
The day was geared for families that have no experience with winter sports. There were free hot dogs, cupcakes, marshmallows, and hot chocolate throughout the day as well as free rentals for the ski and snow shoe equipment. Although the day was windy, there was excellent protection on the trails for the children to compete in the snow-shoe race shown here.
