Duty weekend once again. The local warden was honoured for organizing this curling bonspiel for the last 25 years. It gives councilors of our local municipalities an opportunity to get together socially during what can be a depressing time of the year.
We live in a very Scottish area, so there is a lot of tartan proudly on display as well.
Great action shot! Curling is fun to watch, once one knows how it's played. When my son took up curling, the parents were given a "Curling 101" sheet which really helped.
