Waiting for Pickup

There is a definite autumn look to the area. Leaves are changing fast, and the summer crop is in the midst of being harvested.
A late crop of hay or has it been left out since the summer? The leaves are turning more so than here.

@barrowlane This was baled about a week ago. Farmers are still making hay here - dry, wrapped, and silage.
It is not unusual to get three cuts of dry hay as shown, and five cuts of silage around here. First cut can be taken in Mid-May and go right through to November. Then the snow hits!

We have a few newly baled grass in the fields...the very last of the crops....this stuff is never wasted is it Wendy...like gold in the bank!
