It takes a small army to clean and maintain the over 20 kilometres of cross-country ski and snow-shoe trails at Summerstown Trails on an annual basis. Following a quick pick-up of the usual garbage left at the parking area and trails, volunteers trimmed back the ‘eyecatchers’ along the well-marked trails in addition to cleaning fallen trees and branches.
This fellow manning the chainsaw on a snow-shoe trail, was just one of the 25 members and friends who participated in the annual clean-up day organized by the Friends of the Summertown Trails this past Saturday.
Now this is what 365 is all about in some cases documenting your day to day life, and this is a lovely shot @farmreporter and does what is says on the tin, in a way...
Sound a great trail and like Pat I hope we see some photos. You are lucky to have a great group of members and friends who give up their time to maintain it.
