This ruler set against the snow drift on the rail of our back deck is 10.5 inches long. It is almost long enough to show the total depth of snow we got today.
Granted, this snow accumulated on the rail, and may not be a true reading - but, it does correspond to what the radio said, which was 25 cm for our area.
