This barn, sitting high on the hill overlooking the 6th Concession and Dornie Road in North Glengarry, has watched cows graze in this field, and hay and other crops grow throughout the seasons. But this is the first time it has ever had a crop as pretty as the sunflowers stand like little children at its feet. The owners once kept ostriches when they first purchased the farm in 1998, but now the barn, with solar panels mounted on the roof, is used solely as a work space and storage area. The sunflowers are grown by a local feed store to be sold as bird seed.
