We have a small patch of grass between our driveway and the pens that I have fenced off and let the girls onto every couple of weeks.
They make short work of it - have it grazed down better than a lawn-mower can in about 4 hours.
They love the treat (it's better than our pastures) and I enjoy seeing them so close.
They are due to lamb at the beginning of September.
