I was thankful to Skip Tribby, @skipt07, for inviting us to submit photos that did not make it into 365 the first time.
The fall of 2013 was gorgeous with warm, wonderful weather and vibrant colours. I was snapping tons of pictures every day so had a huge selection. I always wanted this one to be submitted, but it was put on the backburner though never forgotten.
I did not use it because I did not capture the true beauty of the day - the road shows quite dark and dreary although the light was actually very soft and dappled.
This picture was taken on auto - I have since learned to use manual settings for better results.
