Barn Cleaning by farmreporter

Barn Cleaning

Hubby works full time so he is only able to do major jobs like barn cleaning on the weekend. So, with jobs like that, we recruit some neighbour boys who like having a little extra spending money.
Our barn is an old dairy barn with tie stalls and posts every 6 feet. While we do have a skidsteer that is able to take most of the old straw out of the centre, the manure pack on the sides where the posts are has to be manually forked to the centre for the skidsteer.
It's a dirty job, but is so nice with the fresh straw down.
Hello, Wendy! I love that you do a lot of SOOC. But, it'd like to challenge you to step outside the camera and do some post editing. One of the other competitions here on 365 is the ETSOOI challenge. So, I'd like for you to go crazy with some editing (Edit the Stuffing Out of It!). Take a picture of a common kitchen item and try various editing processes on PicMonkey, use multiple ones (or use them all, if you want),.....have lots of fun learning what the various editing processes do.

@sunnygreenwood Thanks, Anne. This is not a great shot but it does record my day for family and friends far from us. That's what is great about 365 - it can be so many things for such different reasons.

A very familiar sight to me Wendy. Mucking out the cattle & calf stalls is a routine job.. Fave for me.
