Okay. I have been experimenting with b&w a lot lately, trying to get texture and shadows and stuff worked out. I thought that the well worn handles of barn tools would look neat against the aged barn boards. I even waited until the evening when the light would cast long shadows.
Well - I was wrong. Good concept, poor execution. I am posting this to remind myself how far I have come when I do finally get it right.
I really enjoy the challenge of b&w - makes you appreciate the talent of the original artists such as Ansel Adams.
