So the equipment must be ready to go when that day comes.
Hubby spent the day preparing the disc bine (for cutting), the tedder (for turning and drying the hay), and the rake (for putting hay into rows for baling).
The tines on the rake come off the rotary for storage, but need to go back on for hay season as shown above.
Interesting - does this one machine do all the jobs you mention Wendy, with different attachments possibly? or is this machine just for raking up the hay? @farmreporter

No - all machines are very much different although I find that the tedder and rake look a lot alike.
I took a picture of him with all machines and tried to make a collage of them but was not able to. Will continue to work on the collage and post it.
