I placed these two feathers together to use for this week's get pushed challenge which is a black and white abstract. I thought that these two looked better in unadulterated and in reality rather than as an abstract.
I think you have succeeded admirably in producing an abstract image ... at first glance, I thought it was drapery. I really like the texture in this and the fade from dark to light.
@irisr Thank you for your input, Jacqui Jay, Do you think that I should consider this as an abstract and enter it into the get-pushed challenge? Or, is it too realistic?
@farmreporter Sorry I didn't see your comment sooner, Wendy. I guess it's too late now, but I would definitely consider it suitable for an abstract challenge.
Nice lines and details. What a clever idea to put the contrasting coloured feathers together like that too.
