Why is it that those guys who make YouTube videos showing how to photograph splashing liquid make it look so easy?
Maybe because they have all the equipment and the proper set up to make easy! Or, maybe they have done it enough that they have all the bugs ironed out to make the shot. Whatever the reason, I did not get the magnificent results they do!
Well - I did watch the video and realized I would have to figure out a method to mount my glass high enough so that I could use the window high above the kitchen sink as the back light since I do not have proper studio lighting. I wanted to use the sink below the glass to catch the splatter.
And this is what I got!
Thank you, Saskia @saskiah for the fun get-pushed challenge of photographing liquids!

Let's just say there were quite a few failed attempts (my arm in photo, wrong angle, etc, etc! And, to top it off, I still have a bit of a sticky floor to wash because of the splashing!
Oh well ... the floor needed washing anyway, LOL!
@saskiah Yep, you did, LOL! I know that it gets really confusing at the beginning, You tagged me in my Frosty Weeds shot and issued me that challenge. It was a good one, and I really enjoyed doing it.

This really isn't easy! Well done with this one though. I've found you need a much faster shutter speed to completely freeze the motion and splashing of the water
