Needlework

Continuing on with the Flash of Red with the focus on textures.
This is my latest project that I am working on for my oldest. She surprises me with her taste in art - which is bright and bold, so different from my preference of nature scenes.
But, am really enjoying working on this piece with its' big areas of one colour - very little blending of intricate colours.

Form the image, it suggests perhaps a flamenco dancer with all those swirly frills. Looking forward to seeing the completed article. Bon courage!
