Dusty Rose by farmreporter

Dusty Rose

There was a colour called Dusty Rose that was very popular in the 1980s that this rose reminds me of.
This rose is actually a very bright and vibrant pink but I discovered that if I push the vibrance all the way up while taking the saturation out using PSE I can get an effect that I find quite pleasing.
Just fun to fool around with processing.
I'm sorry I haven't been commenting more frequently...time management, etc...but I have been meaning to say that when one sees someone's work almost daily it is easy to not notice how much change there is been over a year's time. So many shots that you post now have such a stunning quality to them. And as much as I started following you last May, when I started 365, because I thought you such an impressive photographer, I am ever more impressed....Just saying....

@granagringa
Thank you. Your words mean so much to me. This is a wonderful journey and I am so pleased that you are taking it with me.
I really appreciate your encouragement. You seem to know exactly when I need that little boost of positive vibes.
Time is an issue with me as well and I am so sorry that I do not comment as faithfully as I would like either. Know that I am thinking of you ane the 365 community when I am away!
