Well, What'cha doing Wasp?

These girls have decided that building a nest on my patio window is a great spot. I beg to differ!
By the way, would loved to have gotten closer but ... this is as close as I am going to get to these girls. This is one insect that you will not see the bright, complex compound eyes from me!
They do have a nasty sting that scares me to death!

Stunnig capture and you are very brave! Those wasps look enormous! Any idea how big they are?

@henrir Hubby says they can stay as long as they do not get aggressive towards us since they eat a lot of bugs and such. So far they do not seem to mind us opening and closing the door - and we use that door a lot!
@jacqbb They are about 1/2 inch long and seem to be huge when you get close to them!

I have a nest going up on my front porch. I really need to go buy some spray, but I'm a little afraid to use it. Mine are not aggressive either. So maybe I should just let it go. Nice capture.
