The St. Lawrence River is affectionately known as Highway H2O since the ocean-going freighter traffic can travel so far inland - all the way to Thunder Bay in Western Ontario.
But, soon Winter will hold the river in her icy grasp, stopping all traffic except for the illicit tobacco, drug, and alcohol that tends to fly over the border on snowmobiles late at night - lol!
I do not do a lot of B&W photography - especially for landscape - but this one lent itself to mono.
