The Kootenay National Park

We headed through this park on our way to Calgary from Jasper.
Kootenay National Park, located on the BC side of the border, west of Banff National Park, is a stunning, less-visited park than its neighbor.
Too bad it was so smoky!

I've yet to venture to this area but look forward to the day I can, hopefully without the huge crowds. Nice to find a less visited area, hopefully the fires all over North America will calm down soon
