... and not the endearing term given to those who are overly sensitive!
I saw that April @aecasey has been posting snow flake pics in her project so I thought I would give it a go.
So, I checked out her exif info on her shots, did a quick Google research for a tutorial, and then headed outdoors with camera.
I ignored both the settings on April's shots and the recommendations on the tutorial (he said to shoot hand held and do focus stack)
This one was 1 to 2 mm from point to point.
It is no longer snowing and can hardly wait until it snows again to give it another try!
Great shot. Definitely one on my bucket list. I have tried, and failed in the past, on the odd occasion we get the right kind of snow - i.e not wet and melting! I like your composition.
@granagringa
Actually - this was super easy to do for even me. I put my slipper on the deck railing as the snow was gently falling, then waited for good flakes to fall. I was lucky enough to get this one - and they fell far enough apart to get singles.
It's not grass, I put my black slipper on the deck railing and what you see is the fur around the opening of the slipper.
I would say it was 1 to 2 mm from point to point - definitely no bigger.
I thank each of you for bringing this trending!
So nice of you all.
