Making Selections
I selected the gulls, made a mask layer of them, increased the size of the moon, and put it all together.
This was actually fairly easy since my gulls were against the sky and therefore easily selected. But, I think I could do this with more difficult subjects as well ... it would just take more time and practice!
I am getting excited with this!

Well done. I spent a lot of time learning photoshop but hardly use it. My personal challenge is to take good shots which require little if any editing. Maybe I'll go back.to Photoshop when i think I've meet my challenge. But that may never happen!!! Good to have options
