I must admit I had a hard time wrapping my head around this challenge … and did not succeed in meeting the requirements at all. I did not think that macro and Bokeh could be in the same frame.
You see, I tend to take things literally so my interpretation of macro is which the size of the subject on the negative or image sensor is life size or greater. Most macros I have seen tend to fill the frame which would not leave much room for the lovely Bokeh that this challenge calls for.
Oh well – here is my entry anyway. This is a homemade decoration given to me from a dear friend over 30 years ago. She is made from dough and her hair was produced by squeezing the dough through a garlic press. So – she can just barely be considered macro. And there is some Bokeh behind her.
