These are three mountain peaks just east of Banff that are quite conspicuous as you drive by on the Trans-Canada Highway.
And since Sally @salza challenged me to 'odd'; and as I interpreted that to be odd number - but not quite the rule of odds, I could not resist taking the photo of them.
History of their name:
In 1883, Albert Rogers named these mountains the Three Nuns after a storm left a heavy veil of snow on the northern face of all three peaks. They were renamed the Three Sisters in 1886 by George Dawson and they are referred to individually as Big Sister, Middle Sister and Little Sister.
