I was surprised that I still have a few roses hanging in the garden. So, with snow predicted for Monday, I brought some in for the 52 Week macro challenge which ran way back in July.
Oh well, better late than never.
The stamens were clear enough that I could have cropped this down further to make the photo a true macro but I sometimes prefer pretty to accurate.
I like the curves of the flower petals. I think that the gradient from dark to whit of the pink accents those curves. The yellow stamen glow in the center.
