I actually left the farm to get some urban pictures for my get-pushed challenge (because I seldom leave the farm, LOL!) and discovered that I left the camera with the fully charged battery and my favourite lens at home on the kitchen table when I got to town - the big town of Cornwall and not the tiny town of Alexandria.
Grrrr ... so I snapped a couple of pics of the local Canadian federal office building before my battery died and this is what I got.
I think it works for the urban get-pushed challenge, but it also works for the B&W patterns and textures challenge.
Don't think I should use it for both ... decisions, decisions!
Love the gritty texture you have got. Urban feel for sure.
Commiseration on the battery, I'm sure we all have done it. I know I have, more than one. Also lugged a tripod about only to find I'd left the attachment plate behind. Just too much kit to remember sometimes!
Here's my first take for urban challenge.
Will remember to have camera battery fully charged next time!
