Mom had a short moment to nestle with her two new babies before the third came into the world.
It is still cold here so we have a heat lamp in the pen with them, which has distorted the colour shown here.
This series of photos is in response to a challenge given to me by Ron @stray_shooter who asked me to photograph new life on the farm. I was hoping , and am pleased, that this quiet ewe was able to deliver on that request.
@dide Thank you for following this event. It happened at 1:30 this morning so I had little sleep last night. But the ewe was a sweetie and did not make too much of a fuss having the camera in her face with the new babies. Well worth getting up for!
