David @yrhenwr set the parameters for this abstract challenge. He said to remember that this is all about seeing abstract before you shoot and to really challenge your eye. He also said that we should consider SOOC but this is not a compulsory. Post production please do not apply any software filters that distort or significantly change the image. (Back and white is acceptable).
I did invert this shot but that is all I did.

I was actually right in the middle of the tower safely on the ground - but that is not dangerous at all. Would not consider climbing them though!
Nice shot Wendy. I love all the lines and shapes of these towers, especially effective if viewed directly underneath. I have got under them many times to get a shot but it's never occurred to me to make a negative of them. Works well. Fav! (But I'm not convinced its a true abstract because it is so easily recognisable.)

I know what you mean - but these towers are super strong - they need to be carrying those heavy lines for the hundreds of miles they do.
