Don't Burst my Bubble ...

Oops ... too late!
I do not usually enter more than one similar shot in a challenge but indecision ruled the day.
Besides, I took a ton of shots and this was one of the few that actually worked!
For the Black and White challenge which is Drops and Bubbles.
I always wanted to try frozen bubble photography and yesterday was the perfect day for it - cold with no wind.
So, I googled for the bubble recipe (there are tons and they are all different) and how to do it.
HOWEVER - it is not easy. The fellow in one tutorial said it took him four days to get one decent shot.
I may give it another go this weekend which promises to have another cold snap (hopefully with no wind)
I am impressed at this! Must be cold where you are:)

@fbailey
We had one cold day and now it is above 0 once again but with snow and freezing rain.
We expect some cold weather again this weekend so I may give it another try.

Very nice. I love photos of frozen bubbles. I was able to get one last winter. I think the recipe that uses the glycerine will allow the bubble to last longer.

Love the detail! You never take time to appreciate the details in a bubble. :)

I would love to give this a go but it just doesn't get cold enough round our parts. We can't even manage a frosty morning :( Beautiful image :)
