April Words - Knot

Celtic knot, that is. Celtic knots are very popular here in Glengarry, which has a rich Scottish heritage and culture.
Celtic knots are complete loops without any beginning or end, and can be simple or elaborate. The use of a single strand highlights the Celts believe in the interconnectedness of life and eternity.
I love the symbolism and this wall ornament, and with Mother's Day coming up, may drop a hint to my girls that this would be an awesome memento of Glengarry.
