Rescued Again by farmreporter

Rescued Again

The fledgling birds will occasionally fly into and then straight to the back of our big work shop where there is a window thinking they can fly right through.
Adult birds will realize their mistake and turn around to fly out again. The younger birds sit on the ledge not knowing they need to fly out the way they came in. Hubby rescued three young ones today, Silly birds!
Wow, that's not a view you see very often....well, maybe you do, but I'd guess that the rest of us could never imagine having one in hand....maybe two in the bush, though! ;-)

Super capture. The youngsters do seem to get stuck indoors quite regularly.

Ahh! Great that your husband could rescue them. And I like how you took the picture with the hands holding him - gentle yet firm...

Well your hubby is a saviour indeed...they must be terrified but there nothing like the feeling of releasing a bird that’s been trapped. My SIL was telling us about a bird in his mother’s chimney...a crow so a big bird, he opened the wood burner door & reached up the chimney with a stick & dragged it down, it flew away....one lucky bird!
