Awesome on black.
I took a little bit of extra time in Cornwall to catch up on some of the July words I have gotten behind on.
This photo was part planning and part chance. I wasn't quite ready - didn't have the settings on my camera set - but snapped the picture anyway when the cyclist came around the corner.
The photo is terribly under-exposed but the light hitting him makes it work anyway.
Photography (mine anyway) is part luck and part skill. And, I'd rather be lucky than good any day!

It looks great on black. The light around the cyclist is perfect and works really well with the over dark foreground. The light coming from above could almost be torch light lighting the riders way in the darkness 😊

Awesome luck if you ask me,... but i'm sure skill now is becoming second nature so to you it only seems like luck.
Since you are close to Ottawa we should try to meet up and go photograph one of these days.
