The world was so pretty with ice coating every surface and sparkling like diamonds in the sun.
It looked pretty from inside a warm and cozy house - not so pretty from outside when the frigid temperature makes your nose freeze in ten minutes or less!

I'd love to experience these conditions. Call me crazy but our weather here is so bland and boring. We've had one day of snow so far this winter and only a handful of frosts. All we get is grey miserably damp days. It's depressing 😞 This is a lovely shot 😊
I love all the contrasts in this photo Wendy and I love the cold. Your description of the temperature makes me leap into winter for a moment. I do not suffer these hot, humid summers very well even though I've lived here all my life.
