March Word - Blueberries

There are not a whole lot of blue fruits or veggies so I went with the humble blueberry for today's word.
While these are actually fresh blueberries, and not frozen, they are not as plump and juicy as I would like since they have traveled many thousands of miles over many days to arrive at my grocery store in the middle of our winter.
So much for being an environmentally friendly shopper who keeps the 100 mile diet!

I did dither about buying blueberries, other than the reduced pack of mixed fruit being sold off for quick sale as out of date, and decided I didn't want to buy imported fruit out of season, for the same reasons you're giving. (I have frozen in the freezer)
