magazine quality - great shot - you have a Flikr also? What do you like about that site vs. this one - I have thought about posting more photos elsewhere -
@davidorman how about half-naked? Is that an option? Thanks for the kind words.
@islandk8 thanks, Kate! Although someone recently called me chubby. Was more perplexed than offended because of the negative adjectives I've been called before, chubby has never been one of them...
@kylec thanks, Kyle! I like that site more for a few reasons. I think the pics look better on there. And this is just my personal opinion -- I think there is also less "noise" on the site. No PP or TT to cause any heartaches or make people think they're better photogs than they actually are. Is that mean to say? Lol fuck it - I said it. The community here is what it is and there are great things about it. I do love the exchanges and "friends" I've made here. I've had only positive experiences here because of the level of participation and emotional investment I've chosen. I've also gotten inspiration from really great photographers on this site too. However, there are some other things here, I personally could do without witnessing -- drama-rama or whining about aforementioned PP or TT. Kind of a 'high school' mentality of popularity. But people here roll with it and dig that vibe. I think it's a bit juvenile and I don't buy into it. Just kinda annoying to see when it rears its head from time to time. I think Flickr is a less intimate community and it can be easy to get "lost" there...which I kinda prefer. I'm a loner in that way, I guess lol. I'm sure there are community exchanges and "cliques" on Flickr as there are here but I notice it less. I'd been on that site and posting since 2008 and no one but me was looking at my pics. And I liked the "freedom" of just posting whatever, whenever. Anyway, sorry. That was a long answer to your question....
P.S.- to anyone reading... In my description, which has nothing to do with the pic at all, I forgot to mention that the highlight of my day today was accidentally walking into a crew filming a Law & Order episode today on the UWS and seeing Ice-T up close and personal lol.
Ms. T, can I say, OMG! Sexy as you want to be! I really like your sense of independence and willingness to say what you feel and not worry about what others may say! A strong woman, definitely!
@fauxtography365 [re your comments to Kyle] Very interesting take on the two sites. I think you're right - but for me, I need the reaction (given for whatever reasons) to spur me on to take pictures regularly. I use Flickr too but the lack of interaction there (my own fault probably) means I don't get that sort of spurred-on feeling there. I enjoy using both now - Neither's "better": they're just different.
Re popularity/excellence of photos etc - it's fascinating to note that I got by far the most views of any of my posts yesterday - and that can't be too do with how ' good ' my photos were: solely attributable to the fact that they were both tagged with the word ' Naked'. All i. Can imagine is that there were some very disappointed people when they saw that the tags led to a photo of my hand and one of a pair if specs!!!!
Re your suggestion of semi-naked me. I'll forgive you - after all you haven't actually seen me. I promise, you don't need pictures of any part of me that are normally covered up. In my case, the clothes are there for a very good reason! ;-)
@thirdjoe thanks! Well I try to be a strong woman. Still working on it ;)
@davidorman you make good points too. The reason I joined this site was specifically for the 365 photo a day challenge. There are groups that do it and post elsewhere but I was told that this community was especially supportive. Just like with any endeavor I try that I haven't accomplished before, I like to surround myself around like-minded people who can help motivate. I don't need feedback from others to take a pic everyday. What I needed was knowing that someone would be checking out that I was posting a pic on the day I took it as a way of keeping "honest" with myself. I mean, for me that's the main thing about this project. I haven't used fillers and didn't want to. Or else I (or anyone really for that matter) can take 365 pics in the span of a week - heck even in a day - and just upload them a day at a time. Everyone here has easily taken 365 photos.
My long rambling aside... If it came off sounding judgmental, I don't think less of people who thrive off the feedback or attention. That's just not what has driven me to do what I do. Do I like if my photos are well received? Sure do. But I take all comments with a grain of salt. Some people say things to be nice or generous or maybe if they feel bad if a pic has no comments or as a way of returning a kindness from my comment on their pics. Either way, I appreciate and enjoy the comments and views but don't validate myself by them or lack of them. I rather contemplate the next best shot I wanna take ;)
Almost missed this shot while sleepwalking through my project lately. The title certainly got my attention. Excellent pose and finish to this ravishing photo.
Both shots are very sexy. I like them both for different reasons. The b&w legs shot is erotic and tasteful. The flickr shot, even though out of focus, is smoking hot.
@mara19500 thanks, Mara! I'm never really quite sure how these pictures will come out. Whatever the result, I have fun doing them as it challenges my comfort zone and creative boundaries. Appreciate your kind words as always! :)
@fauxtography365 I love your Flickr page - you are very very talented - I will probably move over to flickr by Jan since it seems like you can organize your photos better - I struggle with edits I can post maybe more than one version of a pic - I really enjoyed your portfolio

Nah didn't really call 'em that. Just gave 'em my million dollar smile lol.
