...actually I don't have a word to fill in the blank. And I'm not sure what the inspiration is for this pic but I loved the lighting on the perfume bottle.
I'm really tired today. Some of you might recall when I wrote about that guy at work who called me Tiffany. (Not my name.) And I was even responding to it because I kinda got tired of correcting him. Well...he FINALLY has gotten my name right.
Ironically, some dude I met on the Metro-North train with whom I've exchanged pleasantries...has been calling me and thinking my name is Jessica. Somehow. I have no fucking clue. There's a story here but I don't even know how to explain it...and I haven't bothered to correct him yet.
Today he said, "Jessica is here to save the day." And pointed at me, smiling.
Wat.
I just smiled because I didn't even know what the fuck was going on. And if I saved the day (or was going to) somehow, I sure as heck didn't want to ruin it by saying he got my name wrong.
Fav. Brilliant light, color and pov. As for your name.....I feel for you. I've worked for the same hospital for 18 years, and most people who work there think I'm two different people. Originally I was confused, and bewildered. Then I just learned to have fun with it. LOL. Some days I'll wear a hat, some days glasses...etc. I had separate conversations with one nurse who I've known for years over two days. The first day she thought I was the other guy. Then the next day I changed my look just a little, and she thought I was someone else. Even asked if she'd seen my apparent faux pas "doppleganger" recently. She said "Yes...just yesterday!"
@tosee thank you, Tom! This was SOOC. I thought the lighting was cool.
@losthorizon thanks so much for the fav! Also lol re: your story. You must have fun with it. And if something at work goes wrong...ya can always blame the other guy! Bwahahahaha.
@grizzlysghost hee hee. Pretty Woman quote, right? As for Stiffernips...she must've been a perky individual lol. I've often been told I look like a Lisa. Have been actually called Lisa a lot. As for what my real name is... What do you want it to be? ;)
@tonydebont I have trouble remembering people's names too. Though I don't think I could get away with calling people "mate" or "love" because it might invite interesting responses coming from me lol.
@soboy5 thanks, Danny! As for getting hit on... To be honest I am sometimes clueless when someone is hitting on me. It may not be until later when a friend points out that someone is hitting on me or trying to ask me out. When men randomly approach me...maybe they're hitting me but I have no clue lol. I just assume they are being friendly and do that with everyone.
Love the warm tones and super cool pov.
Love your "nonsense" stories, too... I told you, you have a gift...you could write about apparently irrelevant things and get your reader involved just the same.

Edward.
Really? That's my favorite name in the whole world!"
I knew a redhead in high school named Tiffany. People called her "Stiffernips." She was hot; I crushed for a while.
I respond to many different names, most of which I can't share on a "family site" ;)
Nice shot BTW, great color/tone!
