Manhattan Bridge, Brooklyn Bridge

Throwback Tuesday. Taken July 2012. With my iPhone when my girl friends and I were on a 3-hour after-work booze cruise around Manhattan.

They served dinner on this mostly alcohol related cruise, if I recall, but I didn't have it. Heard it sucked. I randomly had a bag of skittles which I feasted upon instead. And as gross as this sounds...skittles and Corona actually make for an interesting and tasty mix. Who knew!

In other news, work is kicking my ass but the Executive Director had nice things to say about my work. Hellz yeah.

In other random news, there's a dude on my train who I recently discovered has the most charming British accent. Total surprise. And maybe even a game changer...? I have previously found him to be a bit annoying, to be honest. Always looks too perfect - like he probably spends more time on clothes than me (or any woman) and lives at the gym. And he seemed/seems rather stiff. But I overheard him crack a joke with another passenger the other night in his charming (and surprising) accent and I was, like, whaaaaaat?

But then he remarked weirdly and awkwardly on something else and the intrigue was quickly over. Lol.

I have been itching to get out and take some pics again. Hoping to make that happen this weekend. Still haven't replaced my lens cap.

And as much as I enjoy work....would so love to play hooky today. Who's with me?

Wonderful color and light in that sky. I like hearing your train commute stories. So many people are really fuc#ed up right? At least makes for interesting ride.
