This evening I noticed the water level in the fish tank was dropping badly - the filter was leaking in the cabinet and the carpet was becoming waterlogged. So after having a quick 5 minute panic I looked on YouTube and saw one solution would be to smother the existing rubber seal with Vaseline. I begged some from a neighbour but it wasn't enough so had a 14 mile round trip to the supermarket. It still leaked so had to turn filter off and add airstone to tank. A 50 mile round trip tomorrow to buy new filter ...
Gosh the things we do for our animals ... but you do have to save Nemo and Dory after all the things they've been through ... Dory is what the children at my school call me when I forget things lol
