A blackbird, warily watching me snap away from inside the house. Each year this little tree bears quite a good crop of cherries. Each year the birds strip it clean!
I had hoped to get a shot of him with one in his beak but he was just too quick for me.
Great capture of this guilty looking blackbird! I have a similar cherry tree which is striped by the birds every year. I have to close the window at 4am each morning because of the noise!!!
That's a fabulous 'pose' he's struck.. you could not have asked for more - except for the stolen fruit, of course.. you caught a good catch-light too.. lovely soft tones here..
@jorlam Thank you! I think he's saying "double glazing between us and you can't fly" ... he's been bringing the family down as well. And the sparrows/starlings/thrushes!
