That's what I think when I see the combine harvesters in the fields. I thought it might be a good idea to try and capture a rabbit's eye view of this huge machine advancing towards me harvesting the rapeseed - I don't know what the farmer thought when he saw me crouching in the stubble! We did wave at one another and he didn't run me over, so I guess that was a result:)
I know what you mean, but the rape is the first to be harvested, so hopefully we will see more of these magnificent machines! Hope he had the breaks ready or did you move out of the way quickly?!! Great shot.
@johnsutton Thank you! This field backs onto the garden and every year I don't look forward to the harvesting as it drives the mice (and sometimes dare I say it rats) into the gardens. Luckily when I was down at ground level none coming running towards me! @megpicatilly Thanks very much, I was lucky, he turned away before he reached me:) @carole_sandford Thanks Carole, I'm lucky I guess as this field backs onto the garden. Very nearby photo opportunity!
@suzanne234 Thank you! This always signals that autumn's not far away to me @gijsje Thank you! Hope the neighbours didn't see me laying down in the field in the path of the combine!
An absolutely awesome PoV and i really like that the driver is visible.. there is fabulous definition throughout the frame of this beautifully captured country scene..
