Weed encrusted groynes down at the beach. For the Flash of Red February theme, with the emphasis on minimalism and positive/negative space. Not sure if this qualifies, it looks rather busy, but I quite liked it all the same.
you could have got away with just posting the bottom two thirds of the image if you wanted to stay minimal. It is the shadows here that hold the most fascination for me.
No red on flash of red red day? You surprised me there! Nice shadows. I agree with @helenhall Those shadows hold the fascination and you could easily crop the top out and have a really striking image.
