You got one too.. a great collage.. i really like that in the top/bottom images still whilst the middle one is where all the action is - lots of it.. so:
1st image serene though watchful.
2nd image: Wild thrashing about catching/swallowing lunch
3rd image: only the ripples to tell that anything happened at all..
@jorlam Thanks so much for taking the time to comment - if you can enlarge the last shot there is something in his beak!! I think it's a stickleback. Not a very clear shot sadly. @hermann@ivan Thank you! Think I'll add egrets to my list of difficult subjects ... he stayed over the other side of the lake today well out of range
