I really, really like this. So many contrasts. I'm guessing part of the purpose of the castle was to repel 'invaders' from across the channel which echoes beautifully with the EU mural below. Can't help thinking what the future may hold for Dover. Fav.

@royrj Am so very pleased you liked it. The castle commands a view for literally miles and must have dominated the skyline for centuries. The Banksy will probably last for a few years unless damaged by graffiti (yes, there is already some there) and then end up in the States. I cannot forecast how Dover will fare ...
