The challenge this week was to take a photograph depicting the title of a film.
My original intention was to go to Folkestone and take a shot of a packed beach at high tide and call it "Some Like It Hot". I'm not one of them and couldn't face the beach yesterday. So I made the effort today to find out there was a thick sea fog which I think had deterred a lot of sunworshippers. It didn't make for an interesting shot in any event, tiny stick people in fog.
On the way back from the beach I remembered these steps so tottered halfway up them and was taking a shot of Tracey Emin's little bronze cardigan draped over the railings when a friend of mine came along. I explained about this week's challenge and asked how many steps there were in total. Her answer was 105. She then very kindly offered to go to the top and count down to 39 - that is friendship!
So here is my offering of The 39 Steps starring Helen (please disregard the other 66 which do not appear in this shot!)
