I've been collecting odd bits of coloured glass for years - some nice, some junk but it all sparkles beautifully on my glass shelves on the landing... especially when it's dusted!
Wonderful shot. I love the POV from below with the blue sky behind everything. You did a great job on this pic and all your collecting. Love it. You're right, your window shelves are very much like mine. I think I like your photo better. The blue sky just makes everything look amazing. Thanks for posting this.

I took this angle because I wanted to miss the buildings outside the window while catching the sunlight so I'm glad you think it worked well. :)

It also forms a discreet privacy screen but yes, Lyn, cleaning it is a pain so I make sure if I move anything I put it back in exactly the same place then you don't notice the dust.... hahaha! :)

@koolkel79 Yes, it's mostly junk shop stuff but I do love it. Won a prize on the WI raffle on Tuesday and chose a green glass jug! Not the most stylish accessory to be walking down the road with!! :) x
This is a wonderful image (I've faved it because I love glass) with all the myriad of different colours and shapes. What a great idea to take a photo with the glass against the blue sky - it really brings out all those fabulous details.
I wish I had such a space to display my small collection of glass. I love cobalt blue glass and I have some pretty pieces left to me by grandparents and parents, but nothing like yours :-)
My collection is of mirrors...tiny and all shapes...I only have them on the mantel..these glass shelves look much more appealing! I shall photo them one day and post!
