This is the machine they used to test the pressure in my eyes... one of the 29 tests carried out at the hospital when I had agreed to be a lab rat. I've been a bit slow uploading as I was unable to focus with pupils like saucers...
@christiehicks Well, when the very nice man said 'you need a microscopic hole lasering into your iris... we are investigating the benefits, would you like to take part in our study - we'd be very grateful'...I didn't feel like I wanted to risk offending him by saying no!!
@sabanford I'm afraid it's completely true!! Amazingly they can laser the iris without lasering the cornea and it didn't hurt or affect my eyesight at all. They were very kind and took great care of me so it was nice to 'give something back' and keep them happy too!!
@armorel You're not kidding... I'm amazed you're at the keyboard, don't your eyes feel like sandpaper?! This day when I went, among the other tests they tested my eye pressures with stingy drops every hour, I was there from 8am to 6.30pm! They want to do the other eye this year, I've agreed to continue to take part in the research as I'm sure it's worthwhile... but....... !!!
