You know what them there shepherds were doing....!
Actually I know now why there are no shepherds around watching the sheep; it's because they have installed a nasty electric fence. You can guess how I know it was switched on....
The midnight wasn't clear yesterday so I'm backdating this one having at least got the sheep to look my way apart from the one standing on the haystack who clearly didn't think anything of my photography....
the shepherds had gone to wash off their socks. and maybe the lone sheep looking at you was more concerned about his fate as a pair of socks clipped on a clothesline. i love quirky photographs like this. wonderful!

For those confused friends I should recite the infantile rhyme... "While shepherds washed their socks by night and hung them on the line, the angel of the Lord came down and said 'those socks are mine'....."
The sheep were fine, a little bemused I think, and my nasty yip quickly faded up my arm and into my dignity!! :)
