Flat by filsie65

Flat

Ah well ... some days don't go as planned. Some days just go belly-up. Every picture tells a story - you can work this one out...

Do you like the special texture effect I used to make the vehicle look a bit grubby?!

Humoungous thanks to the charming chap from the RAC who was my knight in shining armour.
Curses on whatever dropped the chunk of sharp metal in the road for me to drive over.

And of course thanks to all my wonderful 365er friends who make me smile with their views and comments and even help me to see a positive opportunity in situations like this... :)
oops! great job of taking advantage of the situation. so glad someone was able to help you change the flat!

Fab effect ;o) What a bummer though! So pleased you were able to call on the RAC to get it sorted for you xx

Awesome picture-that-tells-a-story. So...what special effect do you need to make your car look grubby. Mine looks like that without any help.

@sabanford Wish I could find a special effect that made it look clean!!! :)

Does stuff up your day. Great story.

glad you found someone who saved you! and it's great that you got a shot out of the whole situation: you'll enjoying looking at this picture in a while

Haha! at least you had a photo opportunity! I find the local seagulls are very generous at adding texture effects to shots of my car!

Good opportunity for a shot Phil!....hope your day improved as it went on...

Oh no!! Yay for the RAC guy who came to the rescue! What a pain, I bet. Hm, funny, my car has similar special effects at the moment :-) Hope all is fixed and sorted now

At least it's a flat... unlike mine from June 18, 2010 which was a pic of my car totaled! I'd have changed it myself.

Lol ... great processing to get that dirty car look - you never know when there will be a photo opportunity.

Love the texture effect! :0)

It's only flat at the bottom :)

@johnnyfrs True - we women are so fussy about that kind of thing....

Humour in any situation is a plus! Particularly, when you are left flat out! Glad you got some help and captured the full story! LOL

So sorry to see you had a flat but glad you were quickly rescued and made the most of the situation by getting a photo for the day. Certainly a picture to remember your day by.

Bummer! What a terrible way to start the day. I am glad it is fixed!
February 16th, 2012
too bad about the flat but nice to know there are still knights in shining armour out there!
February 16th, 2012
Bummer about the flat! I like when people use their 365 project to give us a glimpse into real life!
February 17th, 2012
Great effect. I have used it directly on my car so I don't have to do any post-processing whenever I take pictures of it. Saves a lot of time. Fun shot - not so fun flat tyre.

Yes, Phil, that is a lovely texture....gives the auto just the right amount of grubbiness! Hooray for the Knight in Shining Armour!!
