Well it started with a photo of Hershey Kisses, and my wondering what they were... it ended with a lovely cultural exchange of sorts! I sent a little bit of England and she sent a little bit of Kentucky with some yummy Bourbon chocolates, a beautiful little blue photo album (now who might find that useful?!) and postcards with of course a wonderful Hershey Kiss which tasted yumlicious! Nicest of all was the contact made across the thousands of miles with a lovely family - isn't that one of the best things about the 365 Project?
So grateful to so many of you wonderful folk who took the time to view or comment on my photos from Worcester, you are so kind and I really appreciate your interest and support. I am a day behind somehow which I can blame on all sorts of boring things, but I will try to catch up in daylight tomorrow (29th) ..after all, what is an extra day for?! :)
What a lovely exchange of gifts across the miles!
It's so rewarding to make new friends and enjoy new experiences all through the medium of a photo website :-)))
Great story...yes it is an added bonus of being in the 365 club. Lovely colourful shot too - captures the happiness you obviously experienced through the exchange.
Well, I live very close to Hersey Pennsylvania, where they make those wonderful Hersey's Kisses. Come and visit and we can tour the chocolate factory just like in Willy Wonka! I just love that you make a strong connection with a fellow 365er for a cultural exchange. How wonderful.
