Inspired by Amanda Thepanda's photos of her shell collection I delved into mine and found this little beauty - my sister brought it back for me from a beach in the Gambia. She knows I have simple tastes! Makes me wonder at how far it has travelled, and how its first owner's life was so completely different to mine :)
Thank you, thank you everyone who stopped by or commented on my lily of the valley yesterday... Mum had them in her bouquet 56 years ago and I've always had a soft spot for them, so was delighted to see them coming up in my garden and glad I spotted them yesterday for my album.
