I've decided to join in with one of the monthly challenges... something I haven't done before but I only have one full month left 'til my 365 and coincidentally wanted to do a rainbow and some numbers, so it works really well for me! Here is day one, a star. And a dazzling one it is too - where would we be without it?
I squinted to take this shot, then experimented a bit, I cropped and darkened it, then increased the contrast on Pikmonkey - this all brought out the blue without losing the beams or the wispy clouds.

BTW My dear old canon doesn't register battery power any more, sometimes it just flashes red then dies to tell me it needs charging again. Next camera will have a spare battery!
